This is a fun and exciting canyoning activity (hiking in water) suitable for most fitness levels. The duration of this trip is half day. If you are comfortable in water and looking for a fun day out refreshing in nature then this is the trip for you. Learn to navigate on wet ground, jump, swim in fresh water pools, climb and scramble your way though a wadi. The activity is a mixture of canyoning and hiking so double the fun. Through this activity you will get to experience one of the hidden gems of UAE. Leading to our basecamp, the guest get to experience an offload drive through the mountain in a customised safari truck or 4x4. This unique experience is UAE’s first sustainable tourism program. We work with the local community of Wadi Showka who offer us the camp facility. Even more all food provided is prepared in the homes of the local villages using raw material from their private farms. The route takes us on the newly established hiking route through the higher part of Jabel Jais leading to the highest public point in UAE overlooking the sea side and the Northern side of Jebel Jais. It is the perfect place enjoy the outdoors at a higher altitude in cooler temperatures. No water involved. • There is nothing technical about this hike.
