It is the best way to beat the heat and make the best of these fresh water pools. Learn to navigate on wet ground, jump and swim in freshwater pools, climb and scramble your way through a wadi. The activity is a mixture of canyoning and hiking so double the fun. Through this activity, you will get to experience one of the hidden gems of UAE. • The difficulty level of these canyons is 2 out of 10. • No rope skills or technical gear is required. • Limited amount of swimming is involved. Depending on recent weather, the water is mostly waist deep - except for the major pool at the beginning of the hike. • There is nothing technical about this hike. • However, a good amount of fitness level is required. 4x4 or SUV is required to reach the starting point. Those who have regular sedans can leave their cars at the entrance of the wadi and ride with those who have 4x4s /SUV (just for the 10min wadi drive). Strictly NO smoking once activity starts in the wadi.

However, it is not as physically demanding in terms of cardio. The bouldering can be challenging in some parts and a good understanding of this nature is required. However, this trip is not technical and no rope skills are involved. If you are sports active, have good fitness, and want to challenge yourself then this trip is for you. Through the hike, we will come across water pools where we are definitely going to take a dip in, so be sure to pack a fresh change of clothes for after the trip. We are limited to 10 people (5 per guide) for this trip in order to abide by our safety operation protocol that has been assigned and approved by the authorities. There is nothing technical about this hike. • Distance: approx. 4km full loop trip. • Endurance: Medium • Involves steep climbing in certain areas, a bit of scrambling, parts with loose rocks, gentle stretches and water crossing which you might need to swim depending on water levels t the time. • Around 3 hours round trip (moderate pace - depending on the group.) The hiking route is suitable for anyone who is sports active. We will come across some beautiful rock formations, old settlements, some beautiful Sidr trees and Acacias, many goats and scenic mountain views overlooking the lower part of Mount Jais. *Suitable for first timers with good fitness In the afternoon the temperature cools off. We are providing headlights for everyone so we can do the last part of the hike just after sunset. Difficulty level of these canyons is 4 out of 10. No rope skills or technical gear is required. No water involved. There is nothing technical about this hike. However, a good amount of fitness level is required. Distance: 6km loop trip Duration: around 3-4 hours (depending on group pace) Trek involves soft ascent/descent, only short bit of loose rocks, no deep or dangerous cliffs.
